Overcoming fear of public speaking may be one of the most important things you do in your life. Why? Because, by succeeding you will be overcoming your lack of self confidence, so many areas in your life will start to change for the better.

Fear of public speaking comes in various symptoms, depending on your personality and the cause. Some people can’t sleep the night before, some people have butterflies in their stomach, some people can’t eat or feel sick.

Some people are only nervous just prior to the event but are fine during the speaking, while others can barely talk and freeze up.

Most of us feel nervous prior to speaking in front of an audience and it is this nervousness that often makes us perform well. Just ask any actor. They will tell you that if you aren’t nervous beforehand, you don’t perform as well.

However, if your nervousness is so bad you can’t speak, then you need some help.

Homeopathy is a complete system of natural healing, including both your physical and your emotional symptoms. There are many homeopathic medicines which can raise your level of self confidence and so help you in overcoming fear of public speaking.

First you need to be able to identify your exact personal collection of symptoms, or symptom picture. To give you an example, your symptom picture may have some of the following characteristics:

  • tendency to yield to others demands
  • anxiety over small details (such as the toothpaste tube)
  • you may have inner convictions, which you never argue
  • paralysed by anxiety, especially a public performance, stage fright
  • cannot make decisions
  • anxiety with noise

These symptoms are those of the homeopathic medicine Silica. If you can see a general likeness, not necessarily including all the symptoms, then this may be a good match for you.

If it it, then you will see a gradual improvement in your self confidence. The improvement can go unnoticed as each day you will be gently adapting to the new, braver, you. It’s more likely to be noticed by your family, friends and colleagues.

Keeping a detailed diary and looking back every month or so, will also show you your improvements.

Be warned though, that not all family and friends will like the new, more confident you. They may have liked you the way you were, so they could dominate or control you for their own purposes.
