How Homeopathy Works- You’ve Probably Never Heard This Before!

It's DISTILLED WATER FFS – Pure QUACKERY. You weaken something and that makes it stronger !!! Yeah right. So if you take one tiny drop of beer or whisky and dilute it, it would become superstrong alcohol.
It depends how receptive the body is, it also depends with what mindset you approach the treatment, then it also depends on the practitioner, his insight and sensitivity! I know of a practitioner who was a dowser and included a pendulum in order to determine the specifics of this product in relation to the individual! One instance that stands out to me was a woman in her early thirties with a skin condition that was not clearing up. After a first dose of high potency her skin broke out in a violent display of tiny blisters and red skin ALL OVER her face and body. It progressively cleared up in a matter of seven days to a clean, healthy looking skin with absolutely NO side effects. The woman's attitude was not of expectation in any way but rather lets see what happens. So, no preconceived belief (placebo effect) its going to cure me!
I'm grateful for the fact about learning and, practicing Homeopathy when my children were infants. It truly does work for them and, our whole family! My daughter had a rare severe health issue due to how she was born. To make a long story short, a visit to our Homeopathic Dr saved her from needless surgery. It surly was a miracle for us, still is. Thank you Dr. Schmidt for your clear cut explanation of how Homeopathy works!
The only thing homeopathy cures is heavy wallet syndrome.
Alright, let me begin this by saying that I fully respect everyone that has used homeopathy, and by acknowledging all the papers that have proven homeopathy to work. So does homeopathy work?
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Yes, but not the way you would expect it to work. Homeopathy doesn't work because water retains a "memory" of all the substances it touches; if that was true, then the water you're drinking would be a cocktail of sea creatures, human waste, and even asteroid particles. Some homeopathy treatments are so diluted that there isn't even an atom of the original soluble in it.
However, it DOES work on some patients of the patients due to the Placebo Effect, a well-documented and scientifically accurate effect that basically states that if a patient believes the treatment works, their body will fight of the disease better. People who claim that homeopathy worked for loved ones with serious diseases aren't lying, they just don't understand the concept that, in the end, it's the human body that eventually fights off the disease. Remember people, correlation does not mean causation.
3:45 oh so your saying now if I get my cat. Get one of his hairs and dilute it by a factor of… Let's say 50 and I don't get a runny nose surely that will prove homeopathy wrong!
Homeopathy absolutely does work.great medicine for every one
I have seen it work too! It's amazing, I can't wait to learn more
can you explain to me why waters memory doesnt 'remember' all the faeces its had in it? All the fish piss? crab and dolphin shit?

There ARE definite bogus thing about homeopathy. But – there are clearly bogus things about "regular" medicine, too. On the example given here, about decreasing a substance to a very small amount, then ingesting to get a response – the medical profession excoriates it and calls it ineffective and so-on. BUT – they have a term for it: hormesis. It's funny that they actually acknowledge the concept, put their own imprimatur and create a new term for it – then studiously ignore it. Pathetic, really.
Well… he DOES have a whiteboard folks, listen to him
Homeopathy is garbage based on fallacious logical premises. It is not approved by the vast majority of reaserch bodies, as it shows no difference with placebos. Most studies that do find a benefit are not double-blind and don’t compare with placebos
Hypocrates founded "naturapathy" not homeopathy.
What remedy did you use for the chemical ? I get chemical allergies from ammonia because I am a hairdresser and it bothers my eyes . I am doing NAET and it’s helped but it tries to come back so I have to keep treating it . Anything I can do for permanent fix ?
What does "it works" mean? What. Boichemical phenomena is being described as "working" Im not sure I've understood that any specific claim has been made

I challenge you to show me a homeopathic birth control pill that actually works
Computers dont shake things…
Vaccines are dont work under the same logic of homeopathy.
Listen, we can exchange words on the internet all day. Whoever can cure cancer consistently and more effective than placebo will become popular and be used.
It was NOT described Hippocrates. Hahnemann proposed the Similia principle all on his own with some rather fanciful notions. In fact Hippocrates instead said doctors may not use the methods of quacks, among which is untruthful propaganda. In the eyes of Hippocrates diseases have natural causes, and supernatural cures are nonsense. Medicine must rely on careful observation.
Your website references the 1997 Lancet meta-analysis. The author of that study in 2005 stated in the Lancet, "Our 1997 meta-analysis has unfortunately been misused by homoeopaths as evidence that their therapy is proven. We agree that homoeopathy is highly implausible and that the evidence from placebo-controlled trials is not robust." The Lancet author also points out, "Pooling of data from clinical trials makes sense only if all the trials measure the same effect. In our 1997 meta-analysis, we justified the pooling of different interventions, conditions, and outcomes on the basis that, if homoeopathy is always a placebo, all trials measure, in principle, the same thing. There are major limitations associated with this assumption."
The major problem with homeopathy is that it requires overturning well-understood and well-tested physics, chemistry, and biology. As the old saying goes, extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. The studies you cite are NOT extraordinary proof of anything. They are just examples of the remaining gaps in medical science where nonsense like homeopathy tries to take up residence.

Urgent!! Please sign and help get word out about stopping fda changes to homeopathy. We are running out of time! This is SOOOOO important! Whether you use it or not, we all know big pharma is nit for our health. We should be allowed alternative options. Please help spread the word. Thank you
Homeopathy works well and works better than western medicine in most cases.
James Randi is an elderly man that uses humour in his arguments to brainwash idiots into thinking that homeopathy is fake. He will go to extreme lengths to debunk homeopathy as it is counter cultural to western medicine
Please talk more about the distinction between naturopath and homeopath.
I’m very worried that at least 1% of people who watched would rather pay for a sugar pill than actual medicine
I have also treated plants and ponds. Placebo…Please!
Cell salts are wonderful.
Great video! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I have a question on how to use this treatment for a baby with eb.
I'm astounded that this chap is allowed to call himself a doctor, mumbling on about mini mosquitos and a giant mosquito! I don't know what's funnier, the rubbish pouring out of his mouth or the morons in the comments section eating it up. Ridiculous.
The Laws of similiars…..like cures loke….. radiation Hormesis..!!
The thing about naysayers is that they do it on purpose. If Homeopathy doesn’t work on patients, the patients would lose hope and move to other methods to seek a cure. But it’s not the case. Homeopathy does cure people and that is why they keep going back. If it didn’t it will all work itself out and Homeopathy would have diminished by now. The other type of practitioners doesn’t want to lose their business and are fabricating false stories about Homeopathy just to gain business and stay in the game. It’s all about money. The capitalists are controlling what you eat and shit. Period.
Homeopathy work well and all medicines were already proved. But sir what u r telling is very lightly. Homeopathic medicines are prepared from different sources. There are different types of preparation. There is different pharmacopoeia for preparation of drugs. There are 9 group for which have their own ratio for preparation. Its not simply like u dissolved in water of 10ml. For most juice plant, medium juice plant least juice plant, soluble in water soluble in alcohol etc all have their own ratio of combination, timing and many other things. Mostly meceration percolation are used for extration of active ingredients in drugs and for higher potencies used trituration and succusion. Only simply dissolving and diluting will not produce Homeopathic medicine. In India homeopathy course is same as allopathy for 5 and half year including internship for 1 years. Those who do not believe in homeopathy use once to convince urslf.
Went to my MD when I was 19 with poison oak, and he told me to sit down in his back room/lab and he pulled out a vial of poison oak and drew a certain amount into a needle and injected my with poison oak. I was thinking man I'm dying here with this itching and he's going to make it worse. The poison oak was receding the next day. Remember this was 1971, so you can't do this anymore without the Dr. getting his license revoked but I learned that day that LIKE vs LIKE.
To be fair, you should include a record of the studies that showed NO effect along with the studies that showed some effect. That's the only way to use science.
Does this work if the patient didn’t believe in homeopathy
So, drinking water that had touched water mixed with poison, no matter how little poison there was in the first place, would gave up food poisoning.
Btw, thst’a about every drop of water in existence.
I dont know if this sounds stupid, but i think homeopathy relies in the in end to the immune system of humans, but diluted water solutions are enough to activate it against the disease, and mild enough not to cause any harm.
it depend on how stronge your faith, if your faith stronge these will work for short moment, if your faith is weak it will fail 100%, their alcohol remedy nearly killed me, for people with alcohol sensitive or poor liver/gall, stay away in all force, these are over 70% alcohol will kill you no matter how stronge your faith
I stubbed my toe on a door and it really hurt, so I took a piece of wood from the door, made myself a homeopathic remedy and holy shit! It stopped hurting only a few minutes later! Can't wait to try this next time I have diarrhoea.
Water does not have memory, otherwise any sort of water we drank would kill us. Water evaporated from the ocean would have plastic, blood, and fecal memories.
The fact is, people enjoy the attention homeopathic consultants give them. And you can afford it. You are selling either pure water or water with several atoms of the material mixed with a sugar pill. Water does not have memory, otherwise water filters would be impossible and everybody would be dead from the dark ages.
homeopathy works hands down…. those whom never tried it only talk shit…….
This video is painful to watch in the way it disregards the most basic of scientific principles. The presenter here claims a man (who showed no symptoms and who was given a clean bill of health by qualified health professionals) was successfully "treated" by a homeopathic preparation; the "evidence" for this successful treatment being that that man's eye happened to water while he was drinking the preparation. Any unemotional analysis of that situation should show the ridiculousness of it. The presenter attempts to disqualify the sceptics by stating they "never helped anyone". Of course a person who is sceptical of something is not going to claim to have successfully used it. This is the most absurd way of defending a position on an argument that should be based on facts rather than emotion.
Homeopathy has not been "squashed", it is a thriving billion-dollar industry that profits from the most vulnerable among us. The idea that water has the ability to maintain some property of a substance when there are no molecules of that substance remaining is a remarkable claim, and a remarkable claim requires a remarkable proof. Maybe a person will indeed benefit from taking a homeopathic remedy; the question is, why? Occam's Razor teaches us to go with the simpler, more believable explanation. I think the placebo effect is a simpler and more believable one than the idea that water has a "memory".
Wow, 30 seconds into the video and he's already lying. Homeopathy was NOT invented 2500 years ago, try late 1700s.
Homeopathy has not worked and it will never work. It is a placebo. Like if you take something and dilute it a million times you get a ppm of the potancy of that chemical, molycyle set. It does not have an effect. The only onces that are saying it works are cheats and liers or just plain ignorent and need to read up more in stem. Scientists debunked homeopathy so many times it is funny to hear anyone in this day and age saying it works. Im only hear because my religous ant told me it worked so I typed in what is homeopathy so far I have seen nothing more than total bollocks…
Here's a list of over a dozen studies in respected journals showing benefit from homeopathy. These articles are from Lancet, British Medical Journal, Pediatrics, and other respected journals. http://www.homeopathycenter.org/homeopathy-today/research-suggests-homeopathy-clinically-effective-0
